China Patents Granted For UPR Clients

Two United Patent Research clients have recently received Notices Of Allowance from the China Patent Office regarding their China Patent Applications. Gary D.’s invention, Flush Aways, is a flushable toilet seat wipe designed to promote hygiene and sanitation. Lori E.’s invention is a unique swimwear designed to be practical for female users of all ages. Gary and Lori are enthusiastic about the commercial possibilities of the expanding China marketplace.

Patent Work Progresses for UPR Clients

Recently, several United Patent Research clients received formal notifications that their inventions have attained patent pending status at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Renee B., inventor of an innovative hospital garment, recently received a signed confidentiality agreement from NII Tel LLC. Randall will keep in contact with Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of UPR, regarding the next steps to take in dealing with Drummond Inc.

Multiple Manufacturers Interested in Product

Renee B., inventor of Scrubs, has received an offer from a company in Del Rio, Texas to begin production of her medical robe product. Renee is consulting with the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research, Universal Licensing, regarding this offer and a competing offer from a company located in Indiana. Additionally, Renee will shortly be setting up her own web site in order to promote her product.

Zebra Corporation Contacts Inventor

United Patent Research client, George G., received a signed confidentiality agreement from the Zebra Corporation promising to hold in confidence any invention information provided by the inventor. In March of this year, representatives from United Patent Research and UPR’s licensing affiliate, Universal Licensing, met with a representative of Zebra, Mr. Scott Pyle, at a trade show in Chicago. Since then communication has continued with Zebra regarding George’s invention, Sensor Pill Topper (SPT). Universal Licensing will be providing guidance to George regarding further contact activities with Zebra.

Manufacturer Offers to Produce “Scrubs”

Renee B., inventor of Scrubs, has received an offer from a manufacturer to have a prototype made and saleable units produced for a percentage of the sale price of each unit. Renee, a United Patent Research client, is working with UPR’s licensing affiliate, Universal Licensing, regarding the details of a possible licensing arrangement with this interested manufacturer.
