Technology Company Shows Interest in the Apthorp Windmill

Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research, recently reported that Ashland Technology Inc. has signed a confidentiality agreement with United Patent Research client Scott A. Scott’s invention, the Apthorp Windmill, is a newly designed, windmill electrical generator having increased power generating efficiency compared to conventional wind powered generating systems. Universal Licensing will be advising Scott regarding the proper steps to take in dealing with the interested manufacturer.

Inventions Become Patent Pending

Several United Patent Research clients recently attained patent pending status at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. These inventors are: Bruce B., inventor of the Memory Print; Kellis Bryon C. and Virginia C, inventors of the Universal Spring-Loaded Attachment; and, Rick S., inventor of the Crock Pot Helper. Now that these inventors are patent pending, they will be able to take advantage of the invention licensing assistance of Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research.

European Patent Granted for the Assisted Swivel Stand

United Patent Research clients Jeff P. and Russ W. have recently been mailed the European Economic Community’s official certificate of registration regarding their invention, the Assisted Swivel Stand. This innovative device enables a handicapped person to easily and quickly get into or out of a bed or chair.

The ReBag It, invented by United Patent Research client Maris L., is close to being offered for sale in the United States. Currently, production of this environmentally friendly carrying bag is progressing in China and units will soon be available for sale in the United States. Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research, is attempting to arrange for the distribution and sale of the ReBag It in the United States.

Major Distributor Shows Interest In the ProSwing

Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research, has announced that a major distributor has shown interest in the baseball/softball training device invented by Russell S., a client of United Patent Research.  This distributor has indicated that they will make final arrangements with the inventor once a prototype of the invention is completed.

U.S. Patents Issued to United Patent Research Clients

Four United Patent Research clients have recently been mailed patent certificates by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  Earnest C. is the inventor of the Charger – an innovative solar powered electrical charger designed for small electrical products such as cell phones, GPS units, portable gaming systems, etc. Chris C. invented the “Don’t Forget About It: The Medical Magnet” which is a home medical accessory that facilitates the proper use of doctor prescribed medications. Peter and Judith E., are the inventors of the E-Z Stor-Drawer, an innovative accessory for trucks designed to facilitate placing and removing items from a truck bed. Finally, another United Patent Research client, Steven C., has also received a formal patent certificate for his invention, Vacuum Hose Weights. This invention is a unique device which facilitates the cleaning of swimming pools.

Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research, announced that the Lynn Ladder and Scaffolding Company has signed a confidentiality agreement regarding the Ladder Lift. The inventor, United Patent Research client Kenneth P., will be keeping in close contact with Universal Licensing regarding further communication with this interested company.

United Patent Research client Janelle C. has been contacted by the marketing coordinator of Polartec, LLC. in response to Janelle’s initial mailing to them. Janelle will be coordinating her contacts with this company with Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research.
