United Patent Research clients have been making progress in their efforts to secure protection for the names of their inventions. Duane and Virginia S., inventors of the Clean Smile, have been notified by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office that their application for a trademark has been approved. The Clean Smile is an innovative, portable dental hygiene kit. Paul G., inventor of Maternal Comfort, has also been notified by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office that his application for a trademark has been approved. Maternal Comfort is a uniquely designed chair configured to meet the special comfort needs of pregnant woman.

United Patent Research is proud to announce that several of its clients have been notified by the United States Patents and Trademark Office that their inventions have attained patent pending status.

• Inventor Todd B. is the inventor of the innovative auto accessory, the Personal Mileage Tracker (PMT).
• Frank C. is the inventor of a sanitary shopping cart accessory, the Easy Cover Handle.
• A practical clothes dryer accessory was invented by Maria Theresa E.
• A uniquely designed rescue boat, the Water Wrecker, was invented by Ben J.
• Lisa and Curtis K. are the creators of the Comfy Cushions which are very welcome accessories for outdoor picnic tables.
• People who love to grill will find the Grill Shocks, invented by Alfred N. and June W., to be of great value.
• Marilyn P. invented an innovative learning tool for toddlers called the Toddler Trace.
• Carl S.’s invention, the E-Z Change Trash Bag System, addresses the need for a convenient and quick way of replacing trash can bags.
• Dianna E. invented the Nursing Animal Buddy which should find fans among animal owners throughout the world.
• A very convenient and practical travel toothbrush, the Brush-N-Go, is the creation of Jamie S.
• Finally, Andrew S. designed the Electrical Work Box Stencil which significantly speeds up the installation of an electrical work box.

An innovative pet accessory, the Doggie Hydrant, has attracted manufacturer interest. Invented by United Patent Research clients Nicholas and Lisa O., the Doggie Hydrant is a complete system of pet waste disposal which includes a unique methodology for filling and storing waste disposal bags. The invention is patent pending in the United States Patent and Trademark Office and a United States trademark application has been filed. Recently Hercules Poly, Inc. and Doggie Walk Bags entered into non-disclosure agreements with the inventors and requested additional information about their invention. Currently, the inventors are receiving guidance from Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research, regarding the most appropriate steps to take in dealing with the interested companies.

United Patent Research has always been proud of the success achieved by UPR clients in securing trademark protection for their invention titles. Recently, several United Patent Research clients received formal filing receipts from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office regarding their trademark applications. The Electric Traveler, invented by Beverely and Robert E., is an innovative luggage design which permits up to 100 pounds of clothes, etc., to easily be transported with very little user effort or strain. Carol O. is the inventor of Handi Soap which is an innovative shower accessory designed to facilitate the use of a shower by handicapped individuals. Carroll G. has invented Diaper Lock. This is an innovative accessory for diapers designed to make diapers secure and leak-proof. Todd T. is the inventor of Foney Water, a unique health/energy beverage.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office has informed United Patent Research client Rick S. that his application for a U.S. patent has been approved. Rick’s invention is an innovative accessory for crock pots which prevents food from sticking to the bottom and sides of the crock pot and ensures that the food ingredients are cooked evenly and thoroughly.

Two European Economic Community Patents were recently granted and mailed to inventors working with United Patent Research. Michael L. is the inventor of the Mortar Master, an innovative masonry tool designed to make the removal of mortar easy and convenient. Gloria and V. Craig S. are the inventors of the Versatile Purse, Versi-Purse. This invention is an innovative woman’s purse having unique features and extensive versatility. The creative design of this purse enables a woman to easily change purses without dumping out the contents of the purse.

Recently, United Patent Research client, Lynn L. commented positively regarding the services provided by UPR as follows: “I am satisfied with the start to finish aspect of your company.” Lynn’s invention, Dry Conditioning Shampoo, is an innovative hair care product which quickly and conveniently cleans and conditions hair without water.

• Ronald O. is the inventor of Squirrel’s Away. This unique birdfeeder design effectively, and unobtrusively, prevents squirrels from entering a birdfeeder.

• Inventor Jodi R. invented Window Wonders which is an innovative home insulation product designed to help keep a home cool in summer and warm in winter.

• Michael and Cathy S. have invented a unique food product called Simply Tasteful Peanut Brittle which utilizes natural ingredients in a proprietary recipe.

• Inventor Richard F. invented a novel cap which keeps the user’s head and neck cool in hot weather.

• An innovative toy sword, possessing both safety and rugged construction, has been developed by United Patent Research client Michael H.

• Finally, Louis P. has invented the Smart Box. This invention is a unique mailbox containing a specially designed security system.

Dart Racing is an exciting new dart board game which combines the dart throwing skills of a conventional dart board game with a NASCAR type car racing theme. The inventor, Daryl D., is working closely with United Patent Research and Universal Licensing in his efforts to advance his invention. Currently, Dart Racing is patent pending at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
