Window Wonders Becomes a Success

United Patent Research client Jodi R. is pleased with the commercial success of her innovative window insulation product, Window Wonders. This insulation product is designed to help keep a home cool in summer and warm in winter in a cost effective manner.  The unit is lightweight and easy to use. This summer Jodi entered into an Accelerated Program with Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research, and personally visited with the President of Universal Licensing. In a few short months Jodi was successfully selling finished units of her invention in her home town of La Quinta, California. Universal Licensing has commented that they have never known a start-up business “grow so quickly”. Jodi is hoping to expand her business to include franchises in other cities.

Electronics Manufacturer Shows Interest in Security System

Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research, has reported that Electronic Assembly Corporation has shown initial interest in the innovative security system of United Patent Research client William B. This innovative security system is designed to prevent a thief from entering a garage, and thereby entering the connecting home, by using a stolen garage door opener. With the Car ID system, a garage door could not be opened by a garage door remote control unit unless certain proprietary, foolproof, security procedures are in place. This invention is now patent pending in the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Universal Licensing will be providing the inventor with advice regarding further communication with Electronic Assembly Corporation.

Manufacturer shows interest in the Doggie Hydrant

Han Lien International Corporation has shown initial interest in the novel pet invention of Nicholas and Lisa O. The Doggie Hydrant is a complete, outdoor system of pet waste disposal which includes a unique methodology for filling and storing the waste disposal bags. Following the instructions of Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research, the inventors first sent introductory information to Han Lien International Corporation along with Universal Licensing’s recommended non-disclosure agreement. Han Lien International Corporation signed and returned the non-disclosure agreement. Universal Licensing then proceeded to contact the company with instructions on how to access detailed information about the Doggie Hydrant on Universal Licensing’s web site. The inventors will be keeping in close contact with Universal Licensing regarding further contacts with the Han Lien International Corporation.

Inventions Enter Production Stage

Several inventors working with United Patent Research are happy to see that their inventions have entered, or are close to entering, production. All these inventors have been working closely with Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research, in order to achieve this success. Inventor Darryl D.’s Dart Racing game is now in production with the first production run estimated for completion by this summer. This car racing themed game should be a big success at major car racing events as well as in stores selling games. Cori and Brian M.’s Fish Flipper For Hook Removal is also now in production with the first units scheduled to be available for sale this spring. This simple, yet effective, fishing tool allows the user to easily remove a hook from a fish. The lawn and patio accessory of Susan L. and Joseph R., the Pole Cuddle Box, is now entering the production stage where production art is being drawn. This invention is designed to significantly enhance the functional utility of a lawn/patio umbrella.

Patents Issued For United Patent Research Clients

The United States Patent and Trademark Office has notified several inventors working with United Patent Research that patents have been issued for their inventions. Several of these inventors had inventions designed for use in and around the home. Randall R. is the inventor of the practical Garbage Can Lid Holder which can hold the lid of a large garbage or trash can while the can is being filled or emptied. Monte F. is the inventor of Hug A Liter which enables a person to conveniently carry a two litter soda bottle while keeping the soda bottle cool. Bracket for Metal Post, invented by Grady H., is an innovative accessory for fences which permits a user to easily and securely attach a ladder to a metal fence post without cutting or drilling the fence or fence post. The Pool Depth Conversion Island, invented by Denise F. and Susan M., would be a welcome safety accessory for any above ground pool. Home chefs, as well as professional chefs, should find the Auto-Stirring Slow Cooker a real winner in the kitchen. This crock pot accessory, invented by Rick S., prevents food from sticking to the sides and bottom of a crock pot while promoting even and thorough cooking of the food. Professional truck drivers should find the Trucker’s Table, invented by Danny P., to be a valuable accessory, especially during long distance trips. Two inventions that should prove of value in the construction industry are the Ladder Lift, invented by Kenneth P., and the Lazer Assistant, invented by Tim M. Inventions Attract Interest from Third Parties

United Patent Research clients Nick and Lisa O. have been contacted by a manufacturer of pet products with an expression of interest in their innovative pet accessory. The manufacturer stated that the invention would fit nicely into their product line and complement their current product offering. The interested manufacturer signed the inventors’ standard non-disclosure agreement and requested that the inventors present their terms for licensing. The inventors will be keeping Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research, informed about this positive step in the advancement of their invention.

The Director of Research of a major United States University has shown interest in the Apthorp Windmill developed by United Patent Research client Scott A. This wind powered electrical generator provides increased efficiency compared to conventional wind powered electricity generation systems. Apthorp Windmills could be produced as small portable units or as larger units for large scale electric power generation.

The President of a major restaurant association has expressed interest in a novel snack food dispenser. The Twist-O-Snacks, invented by United Patent Research client Michael L., dispenses various types of snacks, such as candy, nuts, etc., in an intriguing yet practical manner. The user can have the device dispense the exact amount of snack desired whether it is a small amount or a large amount. As no electricity is involved, the unit is very portable and reliable. Although primarily designed with bars and restaurants in mind, the device can also be a useful product for the home. Patent Work Progresses for United Patent Research Clients

Several United Patent Research clients have been notified that patent work is progressing for their patents.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office has notified several inventors working with United Patent Research that their inventions have attained patent pending status.  Outdoor lovers should find the Air Base Tent, invented by Rod S., to be of great value. Three automotive related inventions are the Car Flag Bra invented by Bruce B., the Self Defense Car Safety System invented by Humberto N. and Patricia N., and the EZ Handler invented by Gayland and Antoinette I. The Car Flag Bra is an innovative product designed to protect the finish of car while enhancing the car’s appearance. The Self Defense Car Safety System is a comprehensive car safety system designed to significantly reduce the damage to a car involved in an accident. The EZ Handler is an innovative trailer jack which is significantly more maneuverable than currently available trailer jacks. On the sports front, Victor C. has invented the Shield which enables a football coach to securely and privately communicate with players on the field. The Track It! Slips, invented by Terri J., is a portable credit/debit card accessory which assists the user in keeping track of expenditures. Both experienced and novice fisherman alike can enjoy the benefits the fishing accessory, the All In One A.K.A. A-1, which greatly simplifies the storage and transportation of fishing gear. This invention is the creation of United Patent Research client Michael P. Several of the inventions attaining patent pending status where designed for practical application in the home. These were the Temporary Window Guard invented by Kami T.; the unique mail box, Mail Call, invented by Robert H.; and, the Ever Ready Table Lamp invented by Teresa B. For the ever expanding cell phone market, Ella G. has created the All In One which facilitates the safe and convenient transportation and storage of a cell phone along with a Bluetooth device. For picnics and parties, the Plate Wraps, invented by Wendy H., are a decorative and practical way of protecting the food from contaminants. In the medical field, the Farthing Blade invented by Josh F., and Micro Valve Technology invented by Dr. Kenneth E. and Tawni S., should find wide acceptance in the medical community. The Farthing Blade is a medical tool used by anesthesiologists for direct laryngoscopy. Micro Valve Technology is an innovative valve assembly for catheter tubing which limits the possibility of blood loss while protecting hospital workers from contaminated blood.  Richard E., inventor of the Door Hinge-Pin Remover, and James L., inventor of a practical, portable salad buffet cooler, have also been notified that their inventions are patent pending at the U.S. Patent Office.

Other United Patent Research clients have been notified by the U.S. Patent Office that their patent applications have been approved. Reginald H. is the inventor of Trisolite which is an innovative nightlight which does not require batteries or connection to an electrical outlet. A United States patent has also been granted for United Patent Research client Randy R. Randy’s invention is an innovative mount for four wheel drive vehicles which permits the motor, transmission, and transfer case to move freely during extreme four-wheeling without damaging the mount. Inventors Danny P. and Armando R. have been notified that their patent has been issued by the U.S. Patent Office. These inventors have created an innovative food and beverage tray especially designed for safe and convenient use in long distance trucks.
