Latest Patent News 2-5-09

United Patent has many more exciting updates as we move into the month of February.

Owner and President Pat Ralston met with Tri Star Manufacturing at the tradeshow in Chicago. Tri Star Manufacturing has shown interest in inventor G. Lucas’s product, Lucas Designs, and will be signing a non- disclosure agreement. There is a strong indication that Lucas’ product could be endorsed by Ben Roethlisberger, quarterback of the now 6 time Superbowl Champions, the Pittsburgh Steelers!

Adam Levy with Tri Star Manufacturing has also shown interest in inventor S. Boney’s product. Once non-disclosure documents have been executed Universal Licensing will begin discussions.

D. Gospodarski has begun manufacturing the product, Daddy’s Salt. This product has been bottled and packaged. There are licensing agreements in 3 outlets and the product is ready for the shelf.

Inventor C. Denatale received a response from her first manufacturer, Z Manufacturing, in Missouri. CEO, Fred Zamzow has shown interest in her newly designed re-usable shopping bag and negotiations will begin shortly.

Inventor C. Delage has signed confidentiality documents with Universal Licensing and is beginning negotiations with well known manufacturer, Accuate Products.

A prototype company has been enlisted to construct an automotive accessory to secure a licensing agreement for C. Estepan with a major automotive manufacturer.

Latest Patent News 1-28-09

Universal Licensing is pleased to announce the addition of a new product development team member, Jim Jinlolitz, who has an impressive resume including overseeing many complete corporate marketing delivery strategies with billion dollar budgets. Jim Jinlolitz has worked with many companies and achieved much success. He is responsible for the PermaLean Health Bar and Shake as seen on QVC and in health stores across the country.

 

Universal Licensing Attorney Michael Freedman and Inventor C. Estepan have a scheduled conference call with a major automotive manufacturer to exchange information in preparation for negotiating a licensing agreement with manufacturer Vallmar.

 

In March of 2008, President and Owner of UPR Pat Ralston met with an extremely interested manufacturer who has shown interest in negotiations with our clients’ products.  Prototyping has been discussed and preparations have been made for marketing one of our client’s products on the television program QVC.  Due to specific confidentiality agreements, no further information can be shared… yet.

  

G. Getz and Universal Licensing Attorney Michael Freedman await a conference call with major manufacturer Baxa Corporation.

Latest Patent News 1-19-09

Congratulations Inventors for your efforts, time and diligence toward advancing your creative new products!!

 

Inventor J. Lochmueller has received interest from a company, Bob’s Trailer.  Universal Licensing is in discussions and awaiting the CDA signature before formal negotiations begin.  In addition, J. Lochmueller has spoken to the CEO of United Import Trading Company about her product. The CEO has signed Universal Licensing’s confidentiality agreement and negotiations should begin shortly. Another manufacturer out of New York and one in New Zealand, Stork Manufacturing, have both requested her product information for review. Many negotiations are on the table for J. Lochmueller.

 

 

Inventor C. Estepan has received interest from Vallmar Manufacturing. A scheduled conference call on Monday will begin negotiations for a licensing agreement.

 

 

Inventor C. Fruitman has received interest from a professional team and negotiations will begin in the near future.

 

Inventor H. Cole has received interest from a well known company, Kimberly Clark, and has received a confidentiality agreement. Universal Licensing’s attorney Michael Freedman will be in contact for further negotiations.

S. Boney sent Universal Licensing a prototype and has received a submission form from Shimano Inc. in Japan.  He is also awaiting executed CDA from G. Loomis, Inc. in Virginia.

 

A. Cavalieri received an unacceptable waiver from Masco Corp of Taylor, MI.  

Universal Licensing’s attorney Michael Freedman received executed Confidential Disclosure agreement (CDA) from Adam Gargando  &  G. Drake Pelham of Florida and was provided a password to the database.

 

J. Deherrera has ongoing communications with Johnson & Johnson for her latest product.

 

G. Duncan has received an unacceptable CDA from Proctor & Gamble Connect & Development.  Discussions will continue between UL and Proctor & Gamble to reach a mutually acceptable agreement of confidentiality.

 

G. Getz has signed Baxa, Inc.’s CDA and has provided the company with the database password and a letter giving a detailed explanation of the product.

 

D. Posdarski’s spice product has received correspondence from Baron Spice and is looking forward to discussions and/or negotiations.

 

J. Hawks has provided the database password to Kimberly Clark.  UL is awaiting CDAs from Kraco and Clorox before negotiations can begin.

 

 L. Hackett has provided a prototype and is corresponding with Lancaster Colony Corp.  Their CDA has been requested.

 

J. Hodges has provided CDAs and prototypes, as well as forwarded the database password to American Direct in Fairfield, NJ and Oakley, Inc. in Foothill Ranch, CA.

 

T. Jones continues to correspond with Platex.  Negotiations should begin in the near future.

 

C. Lawrimore’s CDA has been sent to Advanced Sales Technologies, LLC and is awaiting execution.  He is also providing Adventure Flights, Inc. in Lake Elsinore, CA, Victory Display & Store Fixture MRG in Gardena, CA, All-Star Inflatables, Inc. in Garland, TX, and Inflatable 2000 in Azusa, CA with passwords to database so that they may review his product information.

 

G. Lucas’s correspondance has been sent to Signzoo requesting the potential cost for manufacturing the product.  A password for the database has also been provided to Promark Industries, Inc.

 

J. Lochmueller spoke to a Queens City Manufacturer on 12/29/08 and she also emailed correspondence to the owner of the company.  There was a response from Dorel Design and Development, LLC.  UL is currently awaiting executed CDA from Neat-Oh! International, LLC and executed CDA from Pacific Cycle, Inc., Madison, WI.

 

Y. Masliantchouk has executed Brady Medicals Confidentiality and Non Disclosure Agreements as well as provided passwords to York Imperial Plastics and Industrial Custom Products.  Correspondence has been sent.

 

M. Mazza provided the database password to Russ Weinzimmer & Associates.  A response is expected shortly.

 

T. Meyer provided Wincraft, Inc. in Winona, Minnesota with a password to the database and is waiting for a response.

 

J. Moore’s Non-Employee Company Agreement from Leviton Manufacturing Co, Inc. has been executed and mailed directly to them.

 

L. Spignesi has provided pictures of the Scupper and will provide a motion picture at a later date.  Passwords were given to Eastern Metal Supply and Paramount & Hydro Aluminum North American.

 

D. Strickland provided us with copy of package mailed to Gudebrod, Inc. in Pottstown, PA and is waiting for a response.

Inventor T. Meyer has received interest from a well known manufacturer.  All necessary confidentiality agreements have been signed and negotiations will begin shortly.  The manufacturer has shown interest in reviewing additional products and has been given UL’s password to view those products.

An interested marketing group will be assigning inventor M. Bates four feet of shelf space at their Chicago tradeshow and will assistance in any licensing or distribution of product for M. Bates. This well known marketing group can also assist in mass production.

Inventor J. Stalter has also received interest from a North American manufacturer, all necessary confidentiality agreements have been signed, and negotiations will begin soon. 

 

Another marketing group has shown interest in R. Wilson’s product. Proprietary information has been received. Universal Licensing is waiting on a copy of the patent to finish negotiations; this should be completed within two weeks.

 

Inventor G. Duncan has two manufacturing companies interested in his new product and has received a letter back in acknowledgment of patent pending. Negotiations should being soon.

 

G. Gertz has received a letter from a well known corporation interested in his new product. Their vice president of technology has signed all necessary documents to start negations. Once documents have been received negotiations will begin.

 

Inventor D. Carrick received receipt of patent pending approval on November 28th.

Latest News 12-17-08

UPR Owner and President Pat Ralston met with a New York marketing firm at the Chicago tradeshow in March, 2008. This firm has contacted Universal Licensing’s Attorney Michael Freedman to schedule a conference call to speak about our inventors’ products; they are interested in producing the next HOT product.

Universal Licensing’s Attorney Michael Freedman is negotiating a licensing agreement with a marketing group in Illinois interested in inventor M. Bates and her new product.  M. Bates has created a new website, visit www.mypenz.com.  She will also be attending the tradeshow with the marketing team to demonstrate her product and generate new licensing prospects.

This same Illinois marketing group has a conference call scheduled for 4:00 today with Michael Freedman of Universal Licensing and UPR Owner Pat Ralston to discuss other products to license as well.

San Antonio Inventor and UPR Owner Pat Ralston continue negotiations concerning his finished product.

Inventor J. Lockmueller is continuing negotiations with three major manufacturers.

Inventor D. Gosterski has received interest from a North American manufacturer; negotiations should begin in the near future.

Inventor T. Osborn’s Utility Patent application has been signed and mailed.

 

Inventors L. Stewart & B. James have received an informal provisional patent.  They will be receiving their formal filing receipt within a few weeks.

The Latest Patent News 12-12-08

  

As the week comes to an end, there’s more exciting news from United Patent Research…

  

 UPR Owner and President, Pat Ralston, is meeting with a major plastics manufacturing company this month to be able to readily produce products for selected clients.  

 Owner Pat Ralston met with an accomplished inventor at the San Antonio Tradeshow and discussed multinational licensing for his football product which has been purchased/licensed by three NFL football teams.  

 

Inventor P. Erickson has been granted a China Patent.

 

Inventor L. Ercolini has also been granted a China Patent.

 

Inventor R. Green has been granted a European Union Patent.

 

Inventor D. Schmutz  and Licensing Attorney Michael Freedman met on the golf course Monday.  Mr. Schmutz  demonstrated his prototype for Mr. Freedman to present to a plastics manufacture’s advisory board for test run production.

 

  Inventor Mr. Fruitman has invented a medical product that Licensing Attorney Michael Freedman will be presenting to a professional football team for review. Pat Ralston and Mr. Fruitman will meet at the Las Vegas Tradeshow in January.

Our Clients 12-05-08

Inventor D. Schmutz has invented a golf training aid for golfers. Mr. Schmutz has built a prototype and will be meeting with Licensing Attorney, Michael Freedman, and an engineer on the golf course next week. His product is the SPS12 and has Patent Pending status.

 

Inventor T. Parker has invented a baby product and is in communications with two well known manufacturers. Proprietary information has been sent to these manufacturers.  T. Parker has Patent Pending status.

 

Inventor J. Lochmueeller has invented a baby product and is in communications with three major manufacturers, all proprietary information has been sent, and negotiations should begin in the near future.  J. Lochmueeller has Patent Pending status.

 

Inventors P. Noday & G. Noday have invented a personal care product for young women and were contacted by a major world wide manufacturer on Monday, Dec. 1.   Confidentiality documents are being signed and negotiations will begin in the near future. Their U.S. Patent has been granted.

 

Inventor J. Moore has received interest from a major North American manufacturer and confidentiality documents are being sent before negotiations begin. Mr. Moore has Patent Pending status.

 

Inventor J. Deherra has invented a personal care/medical product and has received information from a bona-fide North American manufacturer.  Negotiations have begun.  J. Deherra has been granted a U.S. Patent.

 

Inventor R. Wilkerson has invented a children’s product and received interest from a manufacturer specializing in intellectual property.  This manufacturer showed interest recently while meeting the owner, Pat Ralston, at a trade show.  Confidential documents have been signed and negotiations have begun.

 

Inventors R. Earp & J. Lewis have invented a bathroom product. All documents have been signed and sent to the manufacturers. Communications should begin in the near future. R. Earp & J. Lewis have U.S. Patent Pending status.

 

Inventor E. Colombo has invented a baby product and has received interest from a major manufacturer. Attorneys are not, as of yet, comfortable with the language in documents and discussions are underway. E. Colombo has a European Union patent filed as well as US Patent Pending.

 

Inventor J. Hodges has invented the Schnoogles-Eyewear.  Two well known manufactures have shown interest, confidential documents have been signed, proprietary documents have been sent, and negotiations will begin in the near future. J. Hodges has been granted a U.S. Patent, Trademark, European filing, and China Patent.

 

Inventor A. Caveleri has invented the Catch All Popup, a drain assembly for sinks. A. Caveli has received interest from a major manufacturer; however, attorneys are unsatisfied with the language in documents and are currently working out the details. Negotiations and communications continue. A. Caveleri has Patent Pending status.
