Patent Work Progresses for UPR Clients

Several United Patent Research clients have made progress towards attaining patent protection for their inventions. Jerry K., inventor of the K-Cut, John N., inventor of The Auto Baby, and Kenneth P., inventor of the Ladder Lift have recently reviewed and approved their patent applications. UPR will be forwarding these approved patent applications to the patent attorney for prompt filing at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Several Inventions Attain Patent Pending Status

Recently, several United Patent Research clients received formal notifications that their inventions have attained patent pending status at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. These inventors are: Monte F., inventor of Hug A Liter; Delbert G., inventor of the Back Scrubber; Dean T., inventor of the X-Siding Jig; Theresa and Lee R., inventors of the Solar Decoration; and, Joe and Joni S., inventors of the Sticky Kid Bib. As these inventors have now attained patent pending status, they will be receiving the marketing/licensing assistance of Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research.

Manufacturer signs Confidentiality Agreement

Renee B., inventor of an innovative hospital garment, recently received a signed confidentiality agreement from NII Tel LLC. As a client of United Patent Research, Renee will be receiving the licensing assistance of Universal Licensing in her efforts secure a licensing agreement with a manufacturer.

Trademark Successes at United Patent Research

Several United Patent Research clients have made significant progress in their efforts to secure trademark protection for their unique invention names. Mark F., inventor of Music Hands, will have his mark listed in the National Registry this month. Inventors Mark K. (My Teenager Safe Mobile Phone) and Keith I. (Ten Can Liner) have been granted Notices of Allowance for their marks by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

United Patent Research clients, Steven and Deanna B., recently sent a prototype of their Jug Line Fishing Device to Home Run Consultants for their review and consideration. Steven and Deanna are keeping United Patent Research’s licensing affiliate, Universal Licensing, informed of their contacts with Home Run Consultants.

United Patent Research client Randall R., inventor of the Garbage Can Lid Holder, recently received a signed confidentiality agreement from Drummond Inc. Randall will keep in contact with Universal Licensing, the licensing affiliate of UPR, regarding the next steps to take in dealing with Drummond Inc.

Multiple Manufacturers Interested in Product

Renee B., inventor of Scrubs, has received an offer from a company in Del Rio, Texas to begin production of her medical robe product. Renee is consulting with the licensing affiliate of United Patent Research, Universal Licensing, regarding this offer and a competing offer from a company located in Indiana. Additionally, Renee will shortly be setting up her own web site in order to promote her product.

Zebra Corporation Contacts Inventor

United Patent Research client, George G., received a signed confidentiality agreement from the Zebra Corporation promising to hold in confidence any invention information provided by the inventor. In March of this year, representatives from United Patent Research and UPR’s licensing affiliate, Universal Licensing, met with a representative of Zebra, Mr. Scott Pyle, at a trade show in Chicago. Since then communication has continued with Zebra regarding George’s invention, Sensor Pill Topper (SPT). Universal Licensing will be providing guidance to George regarding further contact activities with Zebra.

Manufacturer Offers to Produce “Scrubs”

Renee B., inventor of Scrubs, has received an offer from a manufacturer to have a prototype made and saleable units produced for a percentage of the sale price of each unit. Renee, a United Patent Research client, is working with UPR’s licensing affiliate, Universal Licensing, regarding the details of a possible licensing arrangement with this interested manufacturer.

Manufacturers Sign Non-Disclosure Agreements

Solutions Plus and Haleematex have signed Confidential Disclosure agreements regarding the invention Scrubs, invented by United Patent Research client Renee B. The licensing/marketing affiliate of UPR, Universal Licensing, will be advising Renee regarding the appropriate actions to take in dealing with these companies.

In addition, another United Patent Research client, Lisa E., has received a signed confidentiality agreement from the Southern Champion Tray Company. Lisa will be receiving the advice and guidance of UPR’s licensing affiliate, Universal Licensing, regarding the proper steps to take in dealing with this interested company.

European Design Patent Approved!

United Patent Research client, Mark F., has been issued a Certificate of Registration by the European Patent Office regarding his invention, Music Hands. This official approval of Mark’s European Design Patent application is a step forward in his efforts to achieve commercial success for Music Hands – an innovative electronic device designed to enable an individual, or a group, to produce music without the use of keyboards or actual musical instruments.
