Michael Lucas is tired of cleaning gutters with a ladder. Climbing up onto the roof every fall to clean out the gutters made him desire a simpler, easier way to clean debris from in and around the gutters. Leaves and debris can quickly block a gutter, causing water to run into the home or attic. As Michael found out, most devices on the market attach to the roof, which can violate home insurance policies and roof warrantys.

Michael’s invention attaches simply and easily to the inside of the gutter, and can be operated with a pole from the ground. Pressing “up” on the self cleaning rain gutter will remove leaves and debris from the gutter – no ladders needed.

Michael is currently working with UPR and Universal Licensing to identify national and international distributors and manufacturers for his lawn and garden product.
