Auto Repair Company Contacted

On the second to the last day of SEMA 2017, United Patent Research (UPR) met with a major manufacturer that specializes in auto repair. There are many specialized tools, dollies and racks that are used in this industry. UPR has a handful of specialty tools and we are also researching what other accessories would be of interest to this manufacturer. We will be contacting them in the very near future.

Meeting With Outdoor Products Company

At the SEMA 2017 tradeshow, United Patent Research (UPR) met with an automotive accessories manufacturer that also sells outdoor camping/personal care items which mostly deal with electrical and heating implementation. UPR sat down with the CEO of this company and discussed the types of products his company might consider for licensing. Based on this conversation UPR is putting together an information package consisting of a handful of products that we feel would fit their market niche perfectly. We are also looking into the possibility of having additional NDA’s in place to expedite this review process. This is our first meeting with this company and we look forward to having a long working relationship.

Meeting with Eco-Friendly Company

At the SEMA 2017 tradeshow, United Patent Research (UPR) met with the President of a North American manufacturer that specializes in janitorial, eco-friendly cleaning devices. One of their main niches is interior car cleaning. UPR will be putting together product information for their review and we look forward to speaking with them in the very near future.

Reconnect with Tool Company

At SEMA 2017, United Patent Research (UPR) met with a major North American tool manufacturer that specializes in pneumatic tools. We have met with this company previously. They have a very narrow market niche but have been very receptive to reviewing new ideas when presented. We had a productive meeting with the Product Manager, Chris P. UPR will be reviewing new products submitted by inventors working with our company in order to identify products which might of interest to this significant tool company.

Continued Interest In Two Tools

As a follow-up from an earlier post, United Patent Research (UPR) spoke with a company representative, Tina W., and discovered that she will be bringing the Kombo-Kutt and the I.D. Collet to Australia and Taiwan for review and consideration. We hope that both of these products will pass the scrutiny test and we look forward to receiving positive feedback for a possible licensing agreement.

Meeting With Plastic Manufacturer

At SEMA 2017, United Patent Research (UPR) met with the President of a Midwest manufacturer that is looking to develop products that can be used in the household but also primarily made of plastic using the rotation molding process. The rotation molding process is used to create hollow products. UPR will be reviewing its product list to see which products are relevant for this company. We will be contacting them in the very near future to see if any, and if so, how many, of our products receive interest.

Meeting With Automotive Tools Company

At AAPEX 2017, United Patent Research (UPR) met with an automotive manufacturer that is looking for vacuums, polishers, organizational tools, torque tools, and unique washing items. After meeting with the President of this company on Day 1 of the show, UPR also had a meeting on Day 2 with the Vice President. At that meeting, there were further discussions about getting additional documentation in place so that we can provide invention products for submission on a routine basis. UPR is in the process of putting together a list of relevant products as well as the appropriate legal documentation to start our relationship. We will be contacting this company in the very near future. We look forward to having a long working relationship with this company that would result in getting products licensed.

Initial Meeting With A Major Manufacturer

At AAPEX 2017, United Patent Research (UPR) met with the Director of Marketing of a major manufacturer that is looking for hand tools and mechanic’s tools. This was our first meeting with this company. Looking at the products that they had on display, we feel we have a handful of ideas that fit their product niche. It is fortunate that we were able to meet with the Marketing Director of this company for two days in a row. We will be submitting inventions to them for their consideration and we are hoping that we can get additional documentation in place to make the submission process smoother as our relationship develops.

Meeting With Tool Company

At AAPEX 2017, United Patent Research (UPR) met with a major tool company that we had been meeting with for the last several years. This company has been in business developing innovative tools since 1966. An example of the type of unique products this company is looking for is their needle-nose pliers which can perform five practical tasks with only one tool. At the show UPR was pleased to have the opportunity to meet with this tool company’s Executive Vice President. We will be contacting this company in the very near future to present specialty tools that will fit their market niche perfectly.

Interest In Truck Accessory

At AAPEX 2017, United Patent Research (UPR) met with the President and the Sales and Marketing Director of a North American manufacturer that has offices in the U.S. and Canada as well as having ties to factories in China. UPR presented five hand selected products in addition to a category of products that we felt were a perfect niche for this major manufacturer. Dan S.’s (Smith) SXS Racks product stood out to the Sales and Marketing Director and we were asked to provide additional information on this innovative truck accessory. This inventor has working prototypes and has a beautiful presentation already in place for UPR to work with. We are in the process of putting the additional information together. We also will be contacting the inventor to bring him up to speed on the latest contacts with this company. We are looking forward to favorable results with this company in the very near future.
